Mecha shooter is a platformer game inspired by games like MegaMan, Shovel Knight or Celeste.
The game is set in a world where everything is turning into a metalic substance and you are a robot send to fight the corruption and save the last people that inhabits this world.
The game revolves around a mechanic of energy that deplets when you shoot. You wont loose ability to shoot once it is empty however your bullets will be weaker and enemies will deal more damage to you.

Hey, congrats on the game. The aesthetic really pleases me and I liked what you did in the background, nice layer work =)
I had a hard time figuring out the controls, you might wanna add some kind of tutorial in the beginning, since I played in a keyboard it was hard to find the shooting key and the recharge one, I had to press every single key to find them ^^
Apart from that, the game feels really fun to play, however I got stuck in a part where I couldn't jump between two floors, I might have missed something or just a lack of skill in my part =)
I've also noticed that when you shoot upwards, the player doesn't move horizontally, however if you shoot downwards it shifts a little bit to the left, don't know if this is intended or it's a small issue.
You might want to remove the reset at pressing the R key from releases, I've pressed a few times by mistake xD.
Overally, pretty fun game, cool graphics and game play. Looking foward for the next releases.
